Biography of the core team members
Johan van Hamme (Belgium), who holds a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering, has 20+ years experience and worked as executive for global leading companies such as the Volkswagen Group, Tenneco Automotive, Rockwell Automation and Accenture before starting up Clear Vantage.
Johan, who masters six European languages, has in-depth experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, International Business Culture and Change Management. He is member of ISM (Institute of Supply Management - USA), CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply - UK), Amcham (American Chamber of Commerce) and VMA (Flemish Management Association).
Pietro Landri (Italy), who holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering and a MBA, has 20+ years experience and worked as sales executive for global leading companies such as ExxonMobil, Sigma Aldrich, Engelhard Corporation, BASF and Cytec.
He has got a vast internatonal GKAM experience leading projects and coordinating efforts of multi-continental teams and currently holds such a position with Cytec Specialty Chemicals - Powder Coatings Resins Division.
Pietro is particularly versatile in new/emerging markets assessment and development with tangible rapid growth especially in the Regions such as MEA, APAC and India and attained significant experience in numerous verticals, particularly automotive/motorcycle, plastics and fine chemicals.
Pietro is member of AIMBA (Academy of Italian MBAs Alumni).
Franck Giagnorio (France), who holds a Master Degree in Purchasing Management, has around 20 years of experience and worked as Industrial Buyer, Purchasing Manager and SCM Director in plants for Automotive tier 1 suppliers such as the Prymtec Group, MGI-Coutier and Tenneco Automotive before joining Clear Vantage in 2009.
Franck is fascinated by Purchasing and is always motivated to share his experiences also on Supply Chain and Inventory Management.
Jose Carlos Bandeira Soares (Portugal), who holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, has 20+ years experience in the Automotive Industry and worked as Purchasing and Supply Chain Executive for global companies like General Motors and Delphi Automotive.
Jose is native Portuguese, fluent in English, French and Spanish and has a vast experience in Multinational and Multicultural environments leading and coordinating teams in Morocco, Tunisia and South Africa.
Jose Carlos is also an expert on standardization exercises,the implementation of policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines.Furthermore he is skilled in managing/developing supplier contracts and analysis with special emphasis on the areas of Make vs Buy, Outsourcing and Subcontracting.
S. Venkataraman (India), a Chartered Accountant by qualification, has worked with Price Waterhouse Coopers and has been CFO for leading American firms like Aon (reinsurance) and Hines (real estate). Venkat is currently also promotor-director of Wealth Tree (www.wealthtree.in)
Venkat's speciality is in facilitating international trade and investments, particularly in market entry strategies and in helping companies from the West to procure from India in a cost efficient and sustainable manner from credible and quality Indian suppliers. He is currently a member of the executive committee of the Indo Arab and the Indo Africa Chambers of Commerce and Industries.
Evan Smith (USA) has been helping organizations and leaders to deliver measurable results bu driving successful organizational and individual change for more than 20 years - for the last 10 years, through Metamorphosis Management Group (www.metamg.com - located in Carmel, New York) . Recent work has included:

- Redefining core processes, structures and functions needed to fulfill client strategic objectives
- Facilitating leadership and change for executive and project teams in organizations
- Helping organizations drive sales and business growth through closer connections and better responses to prospect- and customer needs
Evan served as head of Global Quality at Cabot Corporation where he was responsible for creating a global quality function from its business-line and technical units, supporting key customer-retention and new product development initiatives, and implementing a company-wide business management system.
Evan has worked as an executive and manager within companies in aerospace, chemicals and financial service firms. He started his carerr in information systems with GE, supporting GE Aerospace internal systems "customers" in getting more value from their investments. He served as VP of Re-Engineering and Business Analyst at Shawmut Bank/Fleet Bank (now part of Bank of America). His external consulting work has included financial services (retail and commercial banking, insurance), industrial equipment, retail automotive, media-marketing, chemicals, energy/technology, medical devices and health care/pharma/life sciences industries.
He has taugt as an adjunct at the Cornell School for Industrial & Labor Relations and also supported programs at the Wharton School's Executive Education "Advanced Management Program". Evan earned his MBA from the Yale School of Organization and Management and also holds a BS in Industrial & Management Systems Engineering, and a BA in Liberal Arts from the Pennsylvania State University. His past and present partnerships with associates have included experiences working "client side" with McKinsey & Company; as an affiliate of Price Waterhouse Coopers, Robert H.Schaffer & Associates, and as a principal with Pro-Active Learning Inc.
Magnus Josephson (Sweden/Nordic countries) , who holds a Master Degree in Law has 15 years of experience as an expert in public procurement and how to create a more succesful business with the public sector.He has worked as a consultant within sales to more then 200 companies, amongs them many global leading companies like ABB, American Express,Apple, Bausch & Lomb, Cap Gemini, Johnson & Johnson, KPMG, Thomson Reuter and WSP, but also a lot of small and medium sized companies.
Magnus focuses on how companies can make more money in their sales to the public sector. He does training and consultancy in both strategic and operational areas like deciding realistic financial goals and timeframes, market analysis, lobbying, how to organize a sales team, how to sell pro-actively to the public sector, tender management and contract development.
He is currently partner to the Visma OPIC Group, the leading company in Sweden on business information about public procurement. He is probably the speaker "most in demand" within his field in Sweden and head of the training program "Public Bid Manager" at IHM Business School.
